A man once told me
a fool is remembered for a day
but the wise are remembered for all time

I asked the man why that was
and he said

"It is because the fool seeks answers for the questions of today
the wise seek answers for the questions of tomorrow"

When I asked him why it was so
he said I was the fool
and I said to him

"It is a fool who does not bother to ask questions"

The man then asked me this

"If the fool is one who does not ask questions, and the wiseman is always questioning the things around him
then what am I?"

I said

"I don't know"

He said this

"Then what are you?"

I told him that I am what I am
and I asked him what he thought I was

He said

"You are a fool, if you don't know the answer, why ask the question?"

and I said to him again

"it is the fool who does not ask questions"
